Mission / About
At YamateNEXT (Y-NEX), a distinctive consulting and service provider based in Yokohama—Japan’s
second-largest city—we bridge the gap between Japanese and global markets. Yokohama, designated as a major
seaport in 1859 following Japan’s 250-year-long period of semi-isolation, quickly became the nation’s
largest trading port. It spearheaded the export of silk-related products, Japan’s most significant export at
the time, and emerged as a vibrant hub for the exchange of people, goods, technologies, and capital.
While Japan made notable strides toward modernization and internationalization during that era, these
efforts remain incomplete. Despite the reduced barriers between domestic and global markets, Japan’s economy
and financial systems have yet to achieve full global integration.
At Y-NEX, our mission is to facilitate the seamless flow of opportunities between Japan and the world across
diverse domains. For Japanese companies exploring partnerships or investments abroad, our expert team
provides tailored guidance to ensure successful business expansion and market entry.

Inbound (Overseas to Japan Market)
Y-NEX offers comprehensive support for international companies and investors entering or expanding within
the Japanese market. From providing critical insights and expert advice to connecting you with ideal
business partners, we are dedicated to achieving your goals efficiently and effectively.
To deliver actionable and practical services, we strategically collaborate with AMCJ (Action-driven
Management Coalition, Japan)—a network of specialists, including experienced business managements,
lawyers, professional accountants (CPAs), medical doctors, and other experts. Together, we provide
robust, results-oriented solutions customized to your business needs.
Outbound (Japan to Overseas Markets)
Perhaps due to several socio-economic changes in Japanese society, there has been a growing inward focus
among the Japanese population. This is evidenced by the declining rate of Japanese passport ownership and
the decreasing number of students studying abroad. This trend stands in stark contrast to the inbound
tourism boom and the rising global popularity of Japanese culture and cuisine.
While inbound investment is highly valuable, Japan’s long-term economic resilience also hinges on
expanding outbound investments. At Y-NEX, we utilize our international network to support outbound
initiatives, offering tailored solutions for overseas investments and business expansions at every stage.
